We are looking for an M&E Site Manager who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
Our client is a specialist UK construction and maintenance contractor, delivering high-quality refurbishment and installation projects.
Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an M&E Site Manager to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
The M&E Site Manager will be responsible for:
* Manage day-to-day site operations across mechanical and electrical installation, refurbishment, and maintenance projects.
* Supervise and coordinate site teams, tradespeople, and subcontractors.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site-specific risk assessments.
* Monitor and report on project progress, addressing issues and delays promptly.
* Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders as required.
* Carry out site inspections and quality checks to ensure works are completed to a high standard.
* Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, labour records, material deliveries, and progress updates.
To be successful for this M&E Site Manager role you must have:
* Minimum 2–3 years' proven experience as a Site Manager
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
* SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
* Valid CSCS Card.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
* Hands-on and flexible approach to working on-site.
