CAD Engineer (Nuclear)

Rate: c£40.00 per hour (Outside IR35)

Location: Bristol (Hybrid)

Contract: Initial 12-month contract

Start: ASAP

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for 2 experienced CAD Engineer's to support the delivery of major UK nuclear projects. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you'll be responsible for producing and coordinating high-quality 3D design models for complex electrical installation and cable routing packages using AVEVA E3D.

Responsibilities

Produce and develop detailed 3D models using AVEVA E3D.

Design and coordinate cable routing and cable tray layouts within a multidisciplinary BIM environment.

Ensure designs comply with project, quality and nuclear industry standards.

Resolve design clashes and work closely with engineering teams to deliver practical solutions.

Support design reviews and provide technical input throughout project delivery.

Requirements

3+ years' experience as a CAD Engineer within the nuclear industry (essential).

Strong working knowledge of AVEVA E3D (essential).

Experience producing complex 3D design models for electrical or multidisciplinary engineering projects.

Understanding of cable routing, cable tray layouts and BIM coordination.

Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary project teams.
