EYFS Teaching Assistant - St. Albans - Education and Training

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Early Years experience who is committed to helping children flourish both academically and socially within a nurturing education and training environment.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and creative Early Years lessons.

Work closely with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and development.

Encourage children's confidence, independence, and social skills through play-based learning.

Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.

Assist with classroom preparation, observations, and learning activities.

Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working within an EYFS setting, either in a primary school or nursery.

A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

A patient, caring, and proactive approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification (desirable but not essential).

An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
