School Counsellor - Full Time (5 Days per Week)

Location: Southwark, London

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and knowledgeable School Counsellor to join a welcoming and supportive school in Southwark on a full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with previous counselling experience in an educational or similar setting. A relevant degree is preferred, alongside a strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health, safeguarding, and therapeutic approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one counselling and emotional support to students.

Counselling qualifications / certificates are mandatory

Assess students' wellbeing and develop appropriate support plans.

Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies to promote positive outcomes.

Maintain accurate, confidential records in line with safeguarding and GDPR requirements.
