• Deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is an advantage but not essential).
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
• Encourage creativity, confidence, and musical expression both in and outside the classroom.
• Assess, monitor, and support student progress to help every learner achieve their potential.
• Contribute to performances, concerts, extracurricular clubs, and wider academy events.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across multiple academy sites to share ideas and maintain high standards.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where every student can thrive.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• A degree in Music or a closely related subject.
• Experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting.
• Excellent classroom management and strong communication skills.
• A passion for inspiring young people through music and performance.
• Flexibility and willingness to work across multiple academy locations within Rotherham.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Tradewind Recruitment.
