Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a talented Teacher of German and French for a full-time supply role at a well-regarded secondary academy on the scenic Kirklees border in east Oldham.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the school as it begins a new chapter under the leadership of a new Headteacher from September 2026, bringing fresh vision and ambition for the future.

The Role:

• Teach German to GCSE and French across KS3
• Full-time, five days per week
• Plan, deliver and assess engaging language lessons that inspire confidence and curiosity
• Create a positive classroom environment where students develop their communication skills and cultural understanding
• Suitable for both Early Career Teachers and experienced language specialists

What You'll Need:

• QTS, QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification
• The ability to teach German to GCSE, with French at KS3
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure and satisfactory professional references
• Full employment and education history with explanations for any gaps
• The legal right to work in the UK
