Teaching Assistants to join our team and support primary and secondary schools across
Blackburn and Accrington.

We have a variety of
day-to-day, short-term, long-term and permanent opportunities available to suit your experience and availability.
The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and school staff to help pupils achieve their full potential by providing classroom and individual support.
Your duties may include:
- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging engagement in learning.
- Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills.
- Preparing classroom resources and maintaining an organised learning environment.
- Supporting children across a range of subjects and year groups.
We Are Looking For
- Teaching Assistant experience (preferred but not essential).
- Experience working with children or young people.
- A caring, patient and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
- Flexibility and reliability.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
