What does the role involve?
You will join our friendly on-site team in Staines, reporting to our End User Computing Manager. Your mission? To provide hands-on desktop and IT support to our amazing colleagues. We will set you up for success with lots of opportunities to learn from our team so you do not need to be a tech expert from day one-just bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn!
This role is on-site in our Staines office, 5 days per week.
Some of your key duties will include:
• Be the go-to person for IT issues logged through IT service management platform and resolve tickets
• Manage IT kit for new starters, movers, and leavers
• Escalate complex issues to 3rd line when needed
• Share helpful “how-to” guides to prevent repeat issues
What are we looking for?
You love helping people and take pride in delivering outstanding service. You might not have worked in IT support before, but you are great at building relationships and solving problems. Most importantly, you are passionate about tech and eager to learn.
Also, we are looking for the following:
• Strong communication skills
• A knack for following processes
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• The ability to prioritise and stay organised
