Engage Education are working with multiple secondary school SEN departments in the Oldham area who are eager to secure fantastic Apprentice Teaching Assistants to provide outstanding 1:1 & small group SEN support to children with complex learning difficulties.

Apprentice Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

* Conducting specifically tailored 1:1 & small group support for children with SEN

* Creating warm and inspiring atmosphere for children throughout school day

* Creating and sustaining meaningful rapport with students

* Communicating with colleagues and reporting to school SENCO

* Located in one Oldham secondary school for full academic year

Apprentice Teaching Assistant – Benefits:

* Paid £60 – £75 per day during term time

* Paid throughout the holiday periods

* Monday to Friday role from September 2026 to July 2027

* FREE online CPD courses across array of subjects

* Guaranteed TA qualification pending completion of 11 month course

* Option to join school permanently pending course completion

Apprentice Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

* Experience supporting children in any capacity

* 2026 graduates desirable - Any subject

* Naturally outgoing and engaging individual with interest in teaching

* Enhanced DBS on update service desirable but NOT mandatory

* Open to full-time work beginning September 2026
