Project Manager

📍 Location: Canary Wharf, London (Mandatory 2 days onsite per week)

💷 Rate: £640 per day (Inside IR35/Umbrella)

📅 Duration: Initial 6-month contract with potential extension

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a major transformation programme within a high-profile enterprise environment. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the delivery of complex projects, working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive successful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects and workstreams, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic priorities.

Define project scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and governance controls.

Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, issues, and budgets, implementing mitigation strategies where required.

Engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, managing expectations and ensuring transparency.

Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliverables.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery standards and efficiency.

Ensure robust project governance, reporting, and compliance with organisational frameworks.

Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to project teams while fostering accountability and collaboration.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience delivering complex programmes and projects within large-scale organisations.

Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies, governance, and delivery frameworks.

Expertise in:

Estimation & Planning

Risk Management

Scope Management

PMBOK principles and best practices

Demonstrable experience managing multiple stakeholders across business and technology functions.

Strong leadership, influencing, and communication skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure.

Experience driving change and transformation initiatives.
