Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Haverhill, Suffolk

Salary: Up to £19.00 per hour (DOE)

Hours: Some flexibility required

Contract Type: Full time Term to Perm

Our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a full-time, term-to-perm basis.

As a Maintenance Engineer your duties will include:

• Carrying out both mechanical and electrical repairs on production machinery and equipment
• Managing and completing the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out reactive maintenance
• Organising and managing external contractors on site
• Ensuring machinery is operating safely and efficiently
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing facility
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures

An ideal candidate for the Maintenance Engineer will have:

• Previous mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
• Experience managing a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule
• Experience organising and managing contractors
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• A proactive and organised approach to maintenance activities
