Role: Plastic Vacuum Forming Operative
Location: Sudbury, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 17:00
Pay: Up to 14.00+ p/hour (DOE)
Contract: Temporary ongoing (potential for permanent contract)

Join a well-established manufacturing business in Sudbury as a Plastic Vacuum Forming Operative, producing high-quality plastic components in a clean, structured environment. If you have machining or production experience and are looking for a change, full training will be provided.

Plastic Vacuum Forming Operative Duties:

• Set up and operate vacuum forming machines, including loading tools and plastic sheets
• Monitor heating/forming cycles and trim finished components to specification
• Carry out quality checks and identify defects
• Perform basic machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and operational
• Follow job sheets, production schedules, and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Who are we looking for?

• Previous vacuum forming or plastics experience desirable but not essential
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Able to follow instructions and work to production standards
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Pay & Hours:

• Up to 14.00 p/hour (DOE)
• Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 17:00
• On-site parking
• Temporary ongoing position with potential to become permanent
