Job Description:
Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Diversity and Inclusion Officer to lead our initiatives aimed at creating an inclusive workplace culture for clients. This role is pivotal in shaping our diversity strategy, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring that our practices reflect our commitment to diversity for clients.
The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and a deep understanding of EDI, human resources processes, training delivery, with the ability to analyse data and present findings effectively.

Experience:
• learning and development: 1 year (required)
• delivering Diversity and Inclusion training: 1 year (required)

We are looking for someonw who has experience in*:
• Designing, implementing and delivering EDI training programmes across the UK
• Leading bespoke client training delivery, EDI services and learning products.
• Client EDI specific consulting services
• Provide client consulting support
• Shape policies and initiatives that make a real difference for colleagues from marginalised backgrounds
• Develop and implement diversity and inclusion strategies that align with the organisation’s goals.
• Strong skills in advising and influencing stakeholders on EDI matters
• Conduct data analysis to assess the effectiveness of diversity programmes and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on diversity metrics and initiatives to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices in diversity management.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery and development or recruitment programmes
• Mentor associate trainers and support their development.
• Launch new EDI services and learning products, including digital and hybrid
• formats.
• Lead the setup and management of digital engagement projects including
• podcasts, webinars, and video content.
• Travel to client venues, nationwide and overnight stays, required.
• Must be allowed to work in the UK legally.
Key Competencies
• Organisation: Manage multiple training and consulting activities
• Communication: Engages clearly with learners, stakeholders, and providers
• Attention to Detail: Maintains accurate records and coordinates logistics
• Digital Fluency: Confident with tech tools and platforms
• Team Collaboration: Works well across teams and external partners
• Adaptability: Handles last-minute changes and solves problems effectively
• A minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a learning and development.
• A background in training, teaching, HR or organisational development
• Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage various audiences.
• Demonstrated data analysis skills to interpret metrics related to diversity initiatives.
• Proficient presentation skills for conveying complex information clearly and engagingly.

• Drive (Not required but preferable)
• Proficiency in using Apple products (Highly Desirable not required)

The Company
• 28 days annual leave
• We are a small team, and we are looking for someone who wants to grow and develop quickly within an organisation
• No one has to work on their Birthday.
• Small internal team means you will work hard but have the opportunity to influence and make a big impact.
• The team works hybrid therefore there is a requirement to travel into the office twice per week, the successful candidate will be required to travel to Birmingham for face-to-face full-day workdays, in-person team meetings (usually on a Monday and Wednesday - days may vary).
