I am recruiting on behalf of a newly opening specialist school in St. Albans seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team from September.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Speech and Language Therapist to support children aged 4 to 13 years with autism, speech, language and communication needs, developmental delay and social development difficulties.

The successful Speech and Language Therapist will:

• Assess and support communication needs
• Develop individual communication programmes
• Work closely with teachers and support staff
• Support pupils to develop confidence and interaction skills
• Provide advice and training to colleagues

The St. Albans specialist school has newly renovated facilities including:

• Therapy rooms
• Specialist classrooms
• Outdoor learning spaces
• Forest area
• Large playground facilities

The school is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist who:

• Is HCPC and RCSLT registered
• Has experience supporting children with SEND
• Understands autism and communication differences
• Is passionate about improving outcomes
