Pay: £95 - £140 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Clarence Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Leicester City that is looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Level 2) for an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students both inside and outside the classroom, working closely with teaching staff to ensure every learner is fully engaged and able to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

Support students across a range of subject areas and year groups

Deliver focused intervention sessions to small groups and individual pupils

Assist students with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum

Encourage positive behaviour and promote engagement in lessons

Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, pastoral teams, and parents where appropriate

Provide classroom support that enables students to achieve their academic and personal goals

We Are Looking For

A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Previous experience supporting children or young people within a school environment

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

A patient, flexible, and proactive approach

Confidence supporting learners with a variety of educational needs

Good organisational skills and the ability to use your own initiative

A genuine passion for education and supporting student achievement

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
