Veritas Education is recruiting three Learning Support Assistants to join an ambitious and forward-thinking secondary school in South West London.

The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Support students with SEND and additional learning needs within lessons and around the school.

Work closely with teaching staff to ensure students can access learning and make progress.

Provide academic, social and emotional support to individual students and small groups.

Promote confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.

Help create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements

Essential:

Previous experience working within a school setting.

Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A patient, proactive and resilient approach.

A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
