Teaching Assistant - SEND (ASD & Complex Needs) - Full Time

Start Date: September 2026

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 3:15pm

We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic, and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex additional needs within a primary school Satelitte SEN setting.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by helping pupils achieve their individual goals in a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with teachers and the wider SEND team to provide high-quality support tailored to each child's needs.

Key Responsibilities

Support pupils with ASD and complex learning needs throughout the school day.

Assist with learning activities, communication, and social development.

Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.

Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated SEND team.

Requirements

Experience working with children with ASD and/or complex needs is desirable.

Experience in a primary school or educational setting is an advantage.

A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Right to work in the UK.
