Training Development Manager
Location: Southampton
Contract Type: Bank
Salary 25-28 per hour

Come and join Adopt South in a flexible Training Development Manager role!

We are seeking an experienced and innovative professional to lead the development of training, learning and e-learning programmes for prospective adopters and adoptive families.

You will have substantial experience in adoption practice, designing training materials and learning resources, and using innovative approaches, including Virtual Reality technology, to enhance learning. Experience within an Adoption Agency or Regional Adoption Agency is essential.

Working with colleagues and partner agencies, you will ensure our learning offer is engaging, evidence-based and centred on improving outcomes for children and families.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of adoption training and learning programmes
  Design high-quality learning resources, workshops and e-learning content.
  Ensure children's needs and outcomes remain central to all programme development.
  Use innovative technologies, including VR, to enhance learning experiences.
  Evaluate and review training programmes to drive continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration.
Significant adoption experience and knowledge.
Experience of developing and delivering adoption training.
Extensive experience creating training materials and e-learning resources.
Experience within an Adoption Agency or Regional Adoption Agency.
Strong understanding of developmental trauma and therapeutic parenting.

• Knowledge of learning technologies, including VR.
