About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our clinical team 1-2 day a week. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a primary care or community health setting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.

About You

Key responsibilities include:
• Carrying out health checks and observations (e.g., blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, BMI)
• Performing venepuncture, ECGs, urinalysis, and wound care (training can be provided)
• Supporting chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension)
• Conducting public healthcare sector health checks and flu vaccinations
• Maintaining accurate patient records using [EMIS]
• Assisting the nursing and GP team in delivering high-quality, person-centered care
• Promoting healthy lifestyle choices and patient education

• Confidence using clinical IT systems
