ROLE: Assistant Project Manager

LOCATION: Doncaster

Day Rate: 200- 230 DOE

BACKGROUND: CIVIL ENGINEERING

Reports To:

Project Manager - Civil Engineering

Support the Project Manager in delivering the Civil Engineering package for a large scale Civil Engineering package, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

• Support delivery of civil engineering works including earthworks, foundations, reinforced concrete, drainage, roads and fencing.
• Monitor programme, cost, quality and contractor performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, engineers, suppliers and client representatives.
• Assist with planning, progress reporting and risk management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Review drawings, technical queries, method statements and construction documentation.
• Support commercial activities including variations, procurement and payment assessments.
• Attend site meetings and maintain accurate project records.

This is a great opportunity for a young Assistant Site Manager/Assistant Project Manager that is looking to progress their career within the Civil Engineering industry, working on a large scale Renewable Energy contract. Work closely with an experienced Project Manager and gain valuable experience.
