Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Area: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term
Rate: 90 - 110 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils access learning, develop confidence, and thrive both academically and socially.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs.
  Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  Support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development both inside and outside the classroom.
  Help implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies.
  Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers to promote pupil progress and wellbeing.

What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working with children with SEN, either in a school or similar setting.
A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow guidance from teaching staff and SENCOs.
A genuine passion for supporting children to reach their full potential.

To be eligible, you must:
Hold Right to Work in the UK.
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service OR be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional child-related references.
