Supply Teacher - Primary Schools across Surrey

Location: Surrey

Start Date: ASAP - Summer Term and September 2026

Travel: Public transport or driving - applicants must be able to travel across Surrey

Start Time: 8:15am-8:30am arrival

We are looking for passionate and reliable Primary Teachers to provide high-quality absence cover in one-form entry through to four-form entry schools across the county.

What to expect as a Supply Teacher

Deliver engaging lessons using the absent teacher's planning.

Supervise and support pupils throughout the school day, including lessons, breaktimes and lunchtime where required.

Maintain excellent classroom behaviour in line with each school's behaviour policy.

Complete day-to-day teaching responsibilities, including registers, assemblies and other routine duties.

Create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment whilst following all safeguarding and health and safety procedures.

Pay

£155 per day minimum for Early Career Teachers.

£160-£165 per day for Fully Qualified Teachers.The top end of the pay scale is generally offered to teachers willing to travel beyond their preferred distance discussed during registration.

The ideal applicant

Qualified Primary Teacher with QTS (ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply).

Flexible, adaptable and dependable.

Friendly, approachable and punctual.

Strong classroom management skills.

Passionate about making a positive impact across a range of school settings.

Happy to work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Able to travel to mainstream Primary Schools across Surrey for an 8:15am-8:30am arrival.
