Job Title: Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant

Salary: £14.25 - £14.50 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Welsh-speaking Cylch Meithrin in Cardiff. This nurturing early years setting is committed to providing a caring and stimulating environment where children aged 2 to 4 years can learn, play and develop through the medium of Welsh while building confidence and essential early years skills.

The Cylch Meithrin is looking to appoint a full-time Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant on a temporary basis from September, with the potential to become permanent for the right Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant. The successful Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant will support the delivery of engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), encourage children's development through play and provide a safe, caring and inclusive learning environment.

The successful Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant will have:

• Minimum Level 2 Childcare qualification
• Fluency in spoken Welsh
• Experience working with children aged 2 to 4 years within an early years setting
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach
