Banksman

Location: Widnes

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a Banksman to join a busy waste and recycling site in Widnes. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual to play a key role in ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and plant machinery across the site.

You will be responsible for directing vehicle movements, maintaining a safe working environment, and assisting with general site operations when required.

Key Responsibilities

* Direct HGVs and mobile plant safely around the site.

* Ensure all vehicle movements are carried out safely and efficiently.

* Maintain clear communication with drivers and plant operators.

* Monitor pedestrian safety and help prevent potential hazards.

* Support general site operations as required.

* Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

* Previous experience as a Banksman is preferred

* Banksman or Vehicle Marshal qualification is desirable

* Strong awareness of health and safety procedures

* Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
