Key Responsibilities

As a qualified Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining an engaging and effective learning environment:

• Group Interventions: Deliver targeted booster sessions in reading, writing, and maths to small groups of pupils.
• Classroom Delivery: Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, resource management, and overall classroom organization in Chester.
• Inclusive Support: Work alongside SEN support staff to assist children with additional learning or physical needs.
• Positive Environment: Promote positive behaviour and foster a safe, welcoming atmosphere across the school.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a recognized Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (e.g., Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools).
• Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant within an early years or primary setting.
• A proactive attitude toward professional development and ongoing education and training.
• An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to process one through Academics).
