Financial Services Investment Banking

• London Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)
• £750-£800 per day (Umbrella)
• 6-Month Initial Contract (Strong Extension Potential)

A leading global Investment Bank is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Operational Resilience Specialist to support a major Operational Resilience enhancement programme across its EMEA business.

This is a hands-on delivery role, working within the first line of defence, driving the continued evolution of the bank's Operational Resilience framework in line with FCA, PRA and DORA regulatory requirements.

You'll take ownership of key Operational Resilience initiatives across the full resilience lifecycle, partnering with senior stakeholders across technology, operations and business functions to strengthen the bank's resilience capabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end Important Business Services (IBS/CIF) lifecycle activities
• Conducting service mapping, dependency mapping and impact tolerance assessments
• Delivering resilience scenario testing and vulnerability assessments
• Driving remediation activity across Operational Resilience workstreams
• Producing executive and Board-level MI and governance reporting
• Embedding resilience frameworks, controls and standards across the business
• Working closely with business, technology and third-party stakeholders across EMEA
• Supporting ongoing compliance with UK Operational Resilience regulations and EU DORA requirements

We're keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate:

• Significant Operational Resilience experience within Investment Banking or Financial Services
• Strong understanding of FCA/PRA Operational Resilience and EU DORA
• Proven experience delivering Operational Resilience programmes in a 1LOD environment
• Hands-on experience across:
• Important Business Services (IBS/CIF)
• Service & dependency mapping
• Impact tolerances
• Scenario testing
• Vulnerability management
• Self-assessments
• Governance & resilience reporting
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving resilience improvements across large, complex organisations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Investment Banking environment
• Business Continuity, Operational Risk or Technology Risk background
• Experience working across cross-functional transformation or regulatory programmes
• Exposure to enterprise-wide resilience frameworks and governance
