Secondary Teaching Assistant

Location: Haringey

Pay: £95-£110 per day

Start Date: September 2026

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a caring and motivated Teaching Assistant to join a successful secondary school in Haringey.

Working closely with teaching staff, you will help students overcome barriers to learning while promoting independence and confidence.

Duties Include

Supporting pupils during lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Working one-to-one with students requiring additional support.

Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement.

Assisting teachers with classroom preparation.

Supporting intervention programmes in literacy and numeracy.

Requirements

Experience supporting young people.

Calm, patient and approachable manner.

Excellent teamwork skills.

Passion for making a difference within education.
