Job Description

We are currently looking for a Multi Trade Operative to work across the Manchester area on a full-time, long-term contract for a well-established property maintenance contractor specialising in the social housing sector.

This opportunity is with a respected contractor delivering refurbishment and turnaround works to void properties for a number of housing providers. You'll be joining a busy, growing team with consistent work across Manchester. 

I'd be keen to see applications from anyone with experience in property maintenance and refurbishment, whether you've previously worked as a Multi Skilled Operative, Joiner, Carpenter, Kitchen Fitter, Bathroom Fitter, Plumber, Maintenance Operative, or in a similar role.

As a Multi Trade Operative, you will be:

Carrying out refurbishment and maintenance works to social housing void properties

Completing a variety of multi-trade repairs to bring properties back to a lettable standard

Undertaking joinery, basic plumbing, patch plastering, tiling and decorating as required

Working across multiple client contracts throughout the North West

Travelling to sites across Preston, Liverpool, Manchester and occasionally further afield

Delivering work to a high standard while working independently or as part of a teamI'd love to speak to anyone who has:

Experience working on social housing void properties or domestic refurbishment projects

A strong background across multiple trades

Their own van and tools

The ability to work independently and consistently deliver high-quality work

Availability to commit to full-time, long-term workThis Multi Trade Operative role is offering the following benefits:

£20 per hour 

Weekly pay (CIS or PAYE available)

Fuel allowance 

Full-time, ongoing work

Employed or self-employed options available

Work is primarily on void social housing properties across the Manchester and Salford area, with occasional travel to surrounding areas across the North West.
