Cloud Architect

Architect to support a large migration programme, working closely with Lead Architects to design and deliver cloud?based solutions. The role involves contributing to architecture design documents, analysing data to derive appropriate cloud migration approaches, and supporting the development of end?to?end technical designs. The Architect will assist with troubleshooting during build activities and provide hands?on support during migration cutovers, helping resolve issues and ensuring smooth execution. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow into a Lead Architect role, with opportunities to learn from senior architects, take increasing ownership of design work, and develop broader architectural leadership skills. Skills

• Experience contributing and writing designs, preferably for migrations
• Experience working in a multi-supplier environment

Nice to have

• Experience with migrations to either AWS, private cloud or on-premise environments
• Experience of either network architectures, Solaris/AIX, Stromasys, Integration Platforms/ESBs, Directory Services
• Experience creating reference architectures, conducting architecture impact analysis and creating artefacts to support architectural decisions
