About the Organisation

The organisation develops UX-first, often complex software using agile engineering practices and a strong focus on intuitive design. Alongside existing client work, it is scaling its own SaaS product at pace.

You will join a smart, collaborative team that challenges each other to articulate and defend technical decisions in pursuit of high-quality software.

The platform is cloud-native and supports sales, supplier contracting, dynamic pricing, and operational workflows from the first quote through to service delivery.

The organisation is now looking for a detail-driven QA Analyst who is passionate about ensuring that shipped products work beautifully, consistently, and reliably.

Role Snapshot

Junior / Mid QA Analyst

Responsibilities

Verify application functionality against requirements and acceptance criteria.

Test usability, stability, and performance across the stack, including Angular-based front ends, API-based back ends, and databases.

Perform root cause analysis on test failures and system issues.

Help develop and maintain automated test suites.

Work closely with developers and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Customer Success.

Required Skills

Manual testing of web-based systems.

API testing using tools such as Postman or Insomnia.

In-depth understanding of QA processes and the software development life cycle.

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Working knowledge of SQL.

Preferred Skills

Experience with test automation platforms, ideally Playwright.

Knowledge of Angular and TypeScript / JavaScript.

Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, ideally Azure.

You Might Be Our Junior / Mid QA Analyst If:

You have a 2:1 degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 2+ years of hands-on experience testing web-based systems. You are confident in manual and API testing, comfortable with basic SQL, and have a solid understanding of QA processes within modern software delivery environments.

You are curious, methodical, have strong attention to detail, and take pride in ensuring that what ships is stable, usable, and robust. You are keen to build on your experience by learning more about automation, CI/CD, and cloud-based platforms, and you value working in a collaborative environment where quality is a shared responsibility.
