Our award winning and well-established client is actively searching for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join the business and start working on exciting projects within the business. We are looking for someone who can make an impact from day one and hit the ground running as you become an important part of the project. This is an amazing opportunity offering long-term progression within the business as although this role starts off on an interim basis there is a high prospect of it being taken permanent after the project is completed or assignment is finished. This company is multifaceted and continues to grow year on year with unique projects and a national outreach.

The successful candidate for this role will be tasked with taking on responsibilities such as; completing payment runs, supplier statement reconciliations, working collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders and handling complex queries. In this role, you will need to have a background of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment and feel confident liaising with senior stakeholders of the business, as you will be a key member of the team, partnering with senior finance to suggest better ways of operating.

Skills required:

  • Have a strong background within the Accounts Payable function allowing you to join the team and hit the ground running.
  • Have exceptional interpersonal skills allowing you efficiently liaise with both internal and external high-profile stakeholders.
  • Be capable in your approach to work, capable of managing your area of the accounts payable function but still open to assisting with ad hoc request on other accounts.
  • Be immediately available or have a reduced notice period allowing you to start as soon as possible.
