Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Primary School

Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school.

The school is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant who can confidently support teaching and learning across the classroom, deliver interventions, and help pupils make strong academic progress.

Applicants must hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) and have recent experience working within a UK primary school.

The Role:
Supporting pupils across the classroom alongside the class teacher
Delivering small-group intervention sessions in Maths, English, Reading, and Phonics
Supporting pupils of varying abilities to access learning effectively
Assisting with lesson preparation and classroom organisation
Encouraging positive behaviour and pupil engagement
Supporting assessment activities and monitoring pupil progress

The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Has recent experience working within a UK primary school within the last 2 years
Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
Experience delivering intervention work
Positive, proactive, and reliable approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
