Senior Civil Engineer - Data Centre Civils Package

Location: London (Vine Street) | 1 day per week in office - 4 days WFH

Contract: Initial 6 Months

Rate: £40-45 per hour (Outside IR35)

Hours: 8-5 Mon-Fri

The role

This is an opportunity to support the delivery of a data centre civils package. Fit best for an experienced Civil Engineer to join on a contract basis.

This is a strong chance for a Senior Engineer who can hit the ground running, supporting civils design around a high-profile data centre project. The requirement has arisen due to workload demand and the client's current use of Site3D, meaning additional Civil 3D capability is required within the team.

You will be responsible for supporting the civils design elements around the data centre development, including drainage design inside and outside of the building, as well as associated infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities

· Civil engineering design support for data centre infrastructure projects

· Delivery of internal and external drainage systems for building and surrounding civils works

· Production of drainage designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D

· Support coordination of civils packages across multidisciplinary teams

· Assist in resolving technical design issues and ensuring buildability of solutions

· Work closely with the wider design team to ensure integration with existing Site3D outputs

· Provide high-quality design outputs with minimal supervision

· Support delivery through design and coordination stages

Requirements

· Senior Civil Engineer with strong UK infrastructure / civils design experience

· Proven experience working on major infrastructure or data centre projects preferred

· Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (essential)

· Experience in drainage design (internal and external networks)

· Ability to work independently and deliver under tight project deadlines

· Strong understanding of UK design standards and civils coordination

· Experience working within consultancy environments

· Able to attend London (Vine Street) office 1 day per week
