Level 2 Teaching Assistant - SEND Room
Tameside Full-Time Long-Term September 2026 Start

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking an experienced and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Tameside from September 2026.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity working within the school's dedicated SEND room, supporting children with a wide range of additional needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

The school is looking for a resilient, proactive, and compassionate individual who has previous experience supporting children with SEND. You will be confident adapting to the individual needs of pupils, building positive relationships, and working collaboratively with teachers and the wider SEND team.

The successful candidate will have:

• A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting.
• A resilient, patient, and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
