About the Role

We are actively seeking experienced Accounts Assistants to join our network for short-term and interim assignments with leading businesses in the local area. These roles are ideal for individuals who thrive in busy finance environments and can provide immediate support across transactional finance tasks.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately
• Assisting with reconciliations (bank, supplier, and customer accounts)
• Supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Handling payment runs and expense claims
• Maintaining accurate records and assisting with month-end tasks
• Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve queries

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with accounting systems (Sage, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
