Location: Hillingdon (between Southall and Northolt)

Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 4:15pm

Start Date: September 2026 (trial days available before start, with the potential to begin sooner)

SEMH Teacher Job – Primary School in Hillingdon

Are you a passionate SEMH Teacher, Primary Teacher, or SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in Hillingdon? We are recruiting for an experienced and committed Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join a highly regarded specialist primary school supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Based between Southall and Northolt, this well-resourced school offers excellent transport links, outstanding facilities, and a supportive leadership team dedicated to helping both pupils and staff succeed.

SEMH Teacher Responsibilities

As the successful SEMH Teacher, you will:

* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs.

* Support children in achieving their academic, social, and emotional goals.

* Implement positive behaviour management strategies to support pupils with challenging behaviour.

* Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.

* Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team.

* Make full use of the school’s excellent facilities and specialist resources to maximise learning outcomes.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered, you should have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.

* Experience working with pupils with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour.

* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

* A passion for supporting children with additional needs and helping them reach their potential.

* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

* The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

* Availability to attend trial days before September 2026, with flexibility to start earlier if suitable.
