Maintenance Electrician

Manchester City Centre

£25-£27 per hour + 35 Hours per Week + Monday to Friday + Excellent Working Environment + Immediate Start + Inside IR35

Are you an experienced Industrial or Commercial Electrician looking for your next contract in a varied maintenance environment?

Do you want a Monday-to-Friday role where you'll work on interesting building maintenance projects, enjoy great working hours and be part of a supportive Estates team?

Working within a highly skilled Estates team, you'll support the day-to-day maintenance and improvement of an iconic building while helping deliver a range of electrical projects across the estate. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same, offering a mixture of planned maintenance, installation work and general estates support.

In this role you will work a day based shift carrying out electrical PPM and maintenance on the building. You will be working in a high skilled, motivated team and be involved in projects.

The ideal candidate will come from an industrial or commercial electrical background with strong maintenance experience. Candidates from domestic-only environments are unlikely to have the breadth of experience required for this position. Gold Card holders are preferred, although this isn't essential if you hold the core electrical qualifications and relevant industrial experience.

This is an immediate requirement with work expected to run throughout the summer and potentially beyond, making it an excellent opportunity for an electrician looking for a stable, day-based contract.

The Role

*Electrical planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance

*Support electrical installation and improvement projects

*Carry out fault finding and repair work

*Assist with general estates maintenance when required

*Monday to Friday

*35-hour working week

The Person

*Level 3 qualified Electrician

*18th Edition Wiring Regulations

*AM2 Qualified

*Industrial or Commercial electrical maintenance background

*Gold Card desirable but not essential

*Available to start at short notice
