We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to provide essential cover within a busy finance team based in modern offices on the outskirts of York. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a solid financial background and strong SAP experience.

Key Responsibilities: Inputting purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner Recording incoming bank payments Taking card payments over the phone and processing securely Managing credit control activities, including chasing outstanding debt Providing general support across the finance function

Requirements: Previous experience in a finance or accounts role Strong working knowledge of SAP Confident communicator, particularly when handling customer payments and credit control High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to manage workload independently
