Firewall Administrator

• Contract: 3-month temporary assignment
• Location: Hybrid (1-2 days per week in London)
• Main Focus: Deployment of Palo Alto firewalls

We are seeking a Firewall Administrator with expertise in deploying Palo Alto firewalls. This role involves day-to-day administration and documentation of firewall systems, managing VPNs, and participating in upcoming projects related to ZTNA and Prisma cloud technology.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Administer and manage firewall configurations and deployments, focusing on Palo Alto firewalls.
• Maintain and update system documentation related to firewall configurations and network security protocols.
• Manage and configure VPNs, ensuring secure and efficient network connections.
• Participate in projects related to Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Prisma cloud technology, contributing to the enhancement of network security.
• Troubleshoot network issues, ensuring stability and security across all networked systems.
• Work with Azure and CD-WAN environments, integrating and managing network services.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in deploying and managing Palo Alto firewalls.
• Strong understanding of network security protocols and VPN configuration.
• Experience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and Prisma cloud technology.
• Proficient in network troubleshooting and resolution.
• Experience working with Azure and CD-WAN.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
