Job Description

Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Duration: 4 6 weeks (temporary but could go on longer)
Pay Rate: £12.71 - £14 PAYE per hour (flexible depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for an FLT Driver / Labourer to support a short-term project in an engineering environment. This role involves assisting with a product recall programme, carrying out straightforward rework tasks on lifting equipment.

This is a hands-on position combining forklift driving with basic mechanical/labouring duties, ideal for someone who is reliable, practical, and comfortable working in a workshop setting.

• Operating a Reach Truck FLT to move equipment around site
• Positioning lifting equipment onto a designated work rig
• Assisting with basic rework tasks, including:
  • Attaching a car battery to power equipment
  • Installing a connecting cable between components
• Supporting testing/operation of units once modified
• Moving completed units to storage or dispatch areas
• Working as part of a team to complete a high-volume project (approx. 600 units)

• Valid Reach Truck FLT licence (in-house licences accepted)
• Previous experience in a warehouse, engineering, or manufacturing environment
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks
• Reliable and able to work as part of a team

• Monday Thursday: 8:30am 4:30pm
• Friday: 8:30am 1:00pm
