Job description
We’re looking for a reliable Housekeeper to join a friendly nursery team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children.

Hours:
• Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
• Tuesday & Friday: 2:45pm – 6:15pm
• Total: 16 hours per week?

Key Responsibilities:
Pay: £15 per hour

• Clean and sanitise playrooms, sleep rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and staff areas
• Follow daily, weekly, and deep cleaning routines
• Maintain hygiene in toilets, potties, and nappy-changing areas
• Manage laundry: wash, dry, fold, and store bedding, towels, cloths, and spare clothing
• Change cot sheets and sleep mats as needed
• Restock cleaning supplies and report when items are low
• Follow COSHH and Health & Safety guidelines
• Store cleaning materials safely and out of children’s reach
• Empty bins and dispose of waste hygienically
• Support kitchen duties: prep snacks, serve meals, and clean up
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the Nursery Manager
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to uphold a high standard of care
