Temporary Part Time Development Officer
Location: Edinburgh City Centre (fully office based)
Pay Rate: 19.23 - 20.79 per hour (based on experience)
Contract: 1 Month (potential extension)
Hours: 3 Days per week (flexible on days between Monday - Thursday)
Start Date: ASAP

Are you a highly organised and proactive professional with experience in administration, events, stakeholder engagement, research or relationship management? We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Development Officer to join their team on a one month temporary contract.

This is a varied and rewarding role that offers the opportunity to support key projects, coordinate events, manage stakeholder communications, conduct research and provide essential operational support within a busy and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and gather intelligence to support engagement activities and strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate and support the delivery of events, including logistics, invitations, attendee management, and follow up activities.
• Assist with stakeholder communications and relationship management.
• Prepare briefing documents, reports, presentations, and written materials.
• Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Support operational processes, reporting, and administrative activities.
• Manage multiple priorities while ensuring deadlines are met.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, events, research or stakeholder-focused role.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using CRM systems, databases, or similar management systems.
• A professional, collaborative, and proactive approach to work.
• Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
