Set within beautiful countryside surroundings, this specialist provision delivers highly personalised education programmes designed to help learners develop confidence, independence, communication skills, employability, and preparation for adulthood.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will lead a small class of learners with complex needs, delivering engaging and personalised lessons that support both academic progress and personal development.

  • Contribute to EHCP targets and person-centred planning.
  • Promote positive outcomes that support preparation for adulthood.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs.
  • Experience working with SEND learners, ideally within specialist or post-16 settings.
  • Creative, adaptable, and nurturing approach to teaching.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and high aspirations for every learner.
  • Able to inspire confidence, independence, and resilience in young people.

What's on Offer?

  • Temp-to-perm opportunity with long-term career prospects
  • Teachers' Pay Scale plus SEN Allowance
  • Small class sizes with high levels of support
  • Structured induction programme
  • Ongoing CPD and specialist SEN training
  • Opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Teachers' Pension Scheme (upon permanent placement)
