The Role

As a PSHE Teacher, you will deliver engaging and meaningful lessons across KS3 and KS4, covering topics such as mental health, relationships, citizenship, and personal development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Teaching PSHE across KS3 and KS4
  • Delivering lessons on wellbeing, relationships, safeguarding, and life skills
  • Creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Supporting students emotional development and resilience
  • Planning differentiated lessons to meet a range of abilities
  • Contributing to whole-school pastoral and wellbeing initiatives
  • Working collaboratively with pastoral teams and teaching staff

Requirements

To be considered for this PSHE Teacher role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching PSHE or related subjects at KS3 and/or KS4
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing, and student support
  • Confident classroom management and communication skills
  • A compassionate and professional approach
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

This role is suitable for experienced teachers, ECTs, or candidates with a background in pastoral or citizenship education.
