Multi Skilled Engineer Temporary Exeter

We're recruiting on behalf of a national FM provider for a Multi Skilled Engineer to work within a commercial environment in Exeter. This is a temporary role working Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00.

About the Role:
Our client is looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a commercial site, ensuring building systems and services are kept running safely and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer with a broad fabric/mechanical/electrical skillset to pick up ongoing temporary work with a well-established provider.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and fabric building services
• Complete general building fabric repairs (doors, locks, ceiling tiles, basic joinery/plumbing tasks)
• Undertake minor electrical tasks such as lamp/fitting replacement and fault-finding on lighting circuits
• Carry out mechanical tasks including plumbing repairs, unblocking drains, and general M&E maintenance
• Respond to reactive call-outs and resolve faults promptly to minimise disruption
• Complete all necessary paperwork, permits, and Risk Assessments/Method Statements for tasks undertaken
• Log and update completed works accurately on the CAFM/maintenance system
• Maintain plant rooms and work areas in a safe, clean, and tidy condition
• Liaise with site management and other engineers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

What You'll Need:

• Recognised trade qualification (electrical, mechanical, or building services) or equivalent NVQ
• Proven multi skilled engineering experience within a commercial FM environment
• Strong fault-finding ability across a range of building services disciplines
• Own tools and, ideally, a full UK driving licence
