The Supply Register is proud to be working in partnership with Coleg Cambria to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Functional Skills English Lecturer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to support learners in developing essential English skills, helping them build confidence and achieve their educational, employment, and personal goals.

• As a Functional Skills English Lecturer at Coleg Cambria, you will:
• Deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills English lessons to learners across a range of programmes,
• Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements,
• Support learners in developing their reading, writing, speaking, listening, and communication skills,
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment,
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure learners achieve successful outcomes.

• Experience teaching English or Functional Skills within Further Education, training, or a related setting,
• Strong knowledge of Functional Skills English qualifications and curriculum requirements,
• Excellent communication and organisational skills,
• A passion for supporting and developing learners of all abilities,
• A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable,
• A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
