The Role

The successful candidate will:

Deliver engaging ICT and Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Plan, prepare and assess high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire learners.

Teach a range of topics including digital literacy, programming, cyber security and computer systems.

Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to maximise achievement.

Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

Promote high standards of behaviour, engagement and academic success.

Contribute to the wider life of the department and support extracurricular technology initiatives where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential).

Possesses strong subject knowledge in ICT and Computer Science.

Has experience teaching in a secondary school setting or relevant industry experience.

Can deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students of varying abilities.

Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.

Is passionate about technology, innovation and digital learning.

Has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

Works collaboratively and contributes positively to the wider school community.
