Clarence Recruitment is delighted to be working with a successful secondary school in Rugby, Warwickshire to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated ICT / Computer Science Teacher for a long-term position commencing in the new term.

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver engaging ICT and Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan, prepare and assess high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire learners.
• Teach a range of topics including digital literacy, programming, cyber security and computer systems.
• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to maximise achievement.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Promote high standards of behaviour, engagement and academic success.
• Contribute to the wider life of the department and support extracurricular technology initiatives where appropriate.

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Possesses strong subject knowledge in ICT and Computer Science.
• Has experience teaching in a secondary school setting or relevant industry experience.
• Can deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Is passionate about technology, innovation and digital learning.
• Has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
• Works collaboratively and contributes positively to the wider school community.
