Upper Key Stage 2 Supply Teacher - Worksop

Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting an Upper Key Stage 2 Supply Teacher to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Worksop.

This Upper Key Stage 2 Supply Teacher opportunity offers the chance to teach pupils in Years 5 and 6, helping them prepare for SATs and the transition to secondary school. Working as an Upper Key Stage 2 Supply Teacher in Worksop allows you to enjoy the flexibility of supply teaching while gaining experience across a variety of local schools and making a real difference to pupils' learning.

Position: Upper Key Stage 2 Supply Teacher

Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: 130 - 190 per day (paid via PAYE, no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay, dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)

Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across Upper Key Stage 2
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils
• Support pupils preparing for SATs where appropriate
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil wellbeing
• Assess learning and provide feedback where required
• Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Upper Key Stage 2 or Years 5 and 6
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
• Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
