Daily Rate: 145 - 206 per day (dependent on experience)

Clarence Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming secondary school in Rugby to recruit an enthusiastic and talented Teacher of Art & Design for a rolling contract commencing in the new academic term.

The school is seeking a teacher who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them develop their artistic abilities, confidence, and appreciation of creative subjects.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach engaging and inspiring Art & Design lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver creative and challenging learning experiences that encourage imagination and self-expression.
• Support students in developing practical skills across a range of artistic techniques and media.
• Monitor progress and provide effective feedback to maximise achievement.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Contribute to departmental activities, displays, exhibitions, and enrichment opportunities.

We are looking for a Teacher of Art & Design who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has a degree or relevant qualification in Art, Design, or a related subject.
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative education.
• Can inspire and motivate students of varying abilities.
• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Is committed to maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour.
• Works effectively as part of a collaborative school team.

• Competitive daily rates of 145 - 206 per day.
